In March, the Jeseník Gymnasium Robotics R.U.R. Team took part in the prestigious OPEN EUROPEAN Championship VEX V5 competition in Riihimäki, Finland.
The result is an amazing 3rd-4th place and the Judges Award !
To succeed in a European competition without the possibility of training in the Czech Republic is really an incredible feat!
Only two teams are competing in the VEX V5 competition in the Czech Republic this season and four teams are needed to play on the field. So the first real training took place only in Finland at the competition. Just to give you a better idea, the R.U.R. team members put approximately 500 hours of work into building and programming the robot.
